A range of excursions and incursions are planned to complement and extend the educational program. These vary each year depending on the interests and needs of the children. Recent excursions include Cranbourne Gardens and Royal Botanic Gardens, while walking excursions include visiting an aged care facility Arcare, Elsternwick Park and St. Stephens Community Garden. Parental consent must be given before any child is taken on an excursion outside the Kindergarten.

Recent incursions include indigenous educators, puppet shows, maternal health nurse, and Australian wildlife lectures which includes live reptiles, bugs, and frogs for us to learn about. We also invite parents to share their interests, skills, hobbies or profession to enhance the children’s experiences and learning.
